One of the things you need to remember when you are creating your wedding plan or having other people help you in the process is that the more you spend on your wedding, the less you will have after the wedding or for other things that are important to you such as where you go and how long you can stay for your honeymoon. At least this is true for most people in the current economy, and unless you just have money to blow, or have someone who is paying for the entire thing, you should really think about how to have the wedding of your dreams but do it realistically and don't just spend money because you can.

One of the best ways to save money that I've found is to do some of the easier things yourself. It shows that certain type of quality to your wedding that not everything was just bought of the shelf but time was put into it.
